Short Description:

A white, replacement cover for the MK1 surface mounted gas meter box that was introduced In the 1960s but is now superseded by the Mark 2. It is designed to hook-over an existing back plate. Color: white.

FURTHER INFORMATION:

The Mk1 surface mounted gas meter box was designed to hook over the
backplate. Where there is not a suitable backplate but the dimensions of
the cover are appropriate, it may be hooked over a suitable device eg.
baton, that can be fixed to the wall. Service entry holes are situated at the
bottom left-hand side however the box may be sawn if holes are required
in other places.
